Exhibtion Opening The work by our students of Unit C is on display! After a year of intense work, drawing and making we are happy to invite you to our end-of-year show on the 24th of May, opening at 18:00 at Headington Campus, Oxford. The show is on until 5th June at Oxford Brookes School of Architecture. All 23 projects developed by Unit C are located in and around Salo, the birthplace of Nokia and are heavily inspired by insights and impressions from our field trip. The work ranges from speculative, large scale prepositions to thoughtful additions to the urban fabric, including sweeping hyperloop nodes, radio-inspired landmarks celebrating Salo’s near past and living history museums enacting Salo’s distant bronze age heritage, education hubs with deployable spaces carried by grammable ground drones, vernacular production lines for pre-fabricated vernaculars and participatory planning departments.
